eating lunch at Wendy’s in 2007. "I was eating a chicken sandwich and looking at the tray liner for something to read. And that is what got me thinking — Wendy’s was using all
of its free white space, including the tray liner, for its marketing and branding. They were being smart and maximizing the space they had. And I thought, why couldn’t I do that with
email?"Blitzer joined Salesforce as part of the Pardot acquisition. This company was early in the email-marketing signature space, and Blitzer was an advocate.
