The House is expected to pass an email privacy bill soon after years of stalling in Congress. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has scheduled a vote next week to push to pass email
privacy legislation. The new bill would require law enforcement to get a warrant in order to access emails that are more than 180 days old.
