30% of Phishing Messages Opened by Recipient: Verizon

Phishing and malware continue to be the most common tactics used by online criminals,according to a new report from Verizon. The study also found that  30 percent of phishing messages were opened by the recipient, up 23 percent from the same time period last year. In addition, 12 percent of the people that opened the message went on to click on the malicious attachment or link.
