In a blog post, Csathy called Creatv a “media innovation, investment and advisory firm” emphasizing that it wouldn’t be hemmed in by traditional investment-type parameter. “Creatv is not intended to be just another ‘advisory’ or ‘consulting’ firm,” he wrote.

The blog post also said that Manatt where he had been since 2013, will retain a “close affiliation” providing legal services. Manatt has sponsored seminars and pitch events for start-ups  to stoke investment in L.A’s online community.
