Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn, revealed the news that Microsoft had acquired the company to staffers via email. "Our team has grown from 338 people to over 10,000, our membership from 32M to over 433M
and our revenue from $78M to over $3 billion," he wrote in the email. "Despite those accomplishments, we've only just begun to realize our full potential and purpose: Our mission to connect the
world's professionals to make them more productive and successful, and our vision to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce."
