In reaction to the sweltering heat. Salt Lake City-based ad agency Richter7 has launched -- and is enforcing -- a "no pants policy" for its staff. According to the policy. staff will not be able to wear pants in the office from July through August.
And while some might hope to catch a glimpse of boxer brief or bikini-clad booty, the policy encourages staff to wear shorts, skirts or capris. Basically, anything but long pants. The agency will also serve ice cream when temperatures hit triple digits.
So I'm guessing this policy will be just like every other agency's mundane casual Fridays policy, but now every day will be casual Friday. Actually, it's probably a good thing boxer briefs and bikinis bottoms are not encouraged. Far too few people possess the proper assitude to sport that look.
At least this agency didn't send out press releases claiming they created promotion to eradicate the Web of all things non-British when it was really just a side project of one employee. Sorry, just had to get that one out.
