The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility have warned attorneys practicing in the state to be aware of an email scam that is specifically targeting them. The phishing scam looks like it
comes from the trade association and either come in the form of a complaint or a bill. The spam messages tell recipients to click on a link that then loads ransomware or
cryptoware, which block the user's computer access until a fee is paid.
