Proposed Legislation Would Ban Private Email Use Among State Department Officials

Congress has plans to introduce legislation that would ban all employees at the State Department from using private email accounts and servers to conduct any official business. Sen. David Perdue (R., Ga.) will introduce the legislation today. The bill comes in response to the Hillary Clinton email scandal, in which the Democratic presidential frontrunner used a private email server while serving as Secretary of State.
