Pokemon App Can't Read Your Gmail

A blog post from security expert at Tumblr suggested that the Pokémon Go app is able to read user's Gmail accounts. Adam Reeve, Principal Architect at Red Owl Analytics, suggested that the app was able to gain “full account access” to user’s Google accounts when they log on with Google on iOS. Reeve has now backtracked on this suggestion and realized that the app is only able to access basic Google profile data.
