California Bill Could Require Email for Sex Offender List

Sex offenders could soon be required to share their email addresses, usernames and other Internet identifiers to law enforcement, if a new bill is passed in the California State Senate. The SB 448 bill would be applied to offenders convicted on or after Jan. 1, 2017 who used the Internet for sexual crimes. The bill is now headed to the governor.
