In one of the most telling dog-whistles of the third and last presidential debate, Donald Trump spoke of his immigration policy by probably using the first Spanish word he has uttered in any debate: “We have some bad hombres here, and we’re going to get them out.”
Not sure what the point is. Washington Post would use White Racist or Klan, Mafia, al Qaeda Taliban, and many other groups that are associated with different race, religion, crimes, terror or hate. I understand completely that this "bad hombres" was referrence to the "illegal alien" from Mexico (as stated in Wikipedia) who killed Kathryn Steinle. Ms. Steinle didn't deserve to die and wasn't "bad" was she"? How about the other "bad hombres" who killed innocent Americans? Why not write about them?
I also clearly understand Washington Post that there are many murderous Mexican drug groups that could be called "bad hombres" and this would almost be a compliment to the death and crimes they have brought to the USA. So WP, what do you not understand about the real "bad hombres"?
I am simply against crime against all innocent people no matter where they are from or what kind of crime they commit. Once any convicted for felony(s), they lose the right to be called anything political correct and I can think of a lot worse than "bad hombres" I would call them.
