Lawsuits Aim To Block Michigan, Wisconsin Recounts

With the recount in Wisconsin already on its way, Republicans are filing suit to halt recounts in that state and prevent them from starting in Michigan. The main argument is that the recounts won’t have enough time to get done by Dec. 13, which is when the votes must be certified. Another argument is that since Jill Stein is the candidate requesting the recount, and she has no chance of winning, the recounts are “frivolous” and would not change the outcome.
