Email Marketers Focus on Awareness & Engagement in 2017

The top email marketing challenge in 2016 was increasing open rates, according to a new survey from Campaigner. The research also revealed that while attracting new customers was an important challenge throughout the year, less marketers are concerned about acquisition in 2017. In fact, 9 percent less marketers listed this as a goal for the new year as compared to the same study last year. The research reveals that opens and clicks will be the main focus in 2017, as marketers look to increase engagement with people already on their list.
