The More Errors In A Subject Line, The More Likely An Email Won't Be Read

Capitalizing the first letter in an email is more likely to get it read, according to a new study from Boomerang. The research looked at more than 250,000 emails and found that emails without any mistakes in the subject lines were 34 percent more likely to receive a response than those with a mistake. Emails with only one error in the subject line had a 29 percent response rate, and those with more than one error had a 14 percent response rate.
