Mississippi Plans to Sue Google Over Student Data

Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood has plans to sue Google for allegedly mining student data through G Suite for Education accounts. While Google has agreed to respect the privacy of the data, the suit alleges that Google has not complied. According to the complaint, Google tracks, records and uses the data to build profiles on individual students in order to use this data for Google ads.
