The president of the University of Arizona has been spoofed in a scam email targeting students and employees at the school. The email that looked like it came from UA President Ann Weaver Hart
went out at the beginning of the 2016 semester. The email actually came from a spammer in Belgium. The university's IT department has begun educating students and employees on how to identify phishing
messages and avoid exposing personal data.
