Edward Snowden's email encryption tool of choice Lavabit has been resurrected. Ladar Levison, CEO and owner of Lavabit, relaunched the service on Friday corresponding with the presidential
inauguration. Levison shut down the service in 2013 after reportedly receiving a court order requiring him to hand over SSL keys to track an account. Rather than give in, Levison closed up shop. The
updated service offers end-to-end encryption so Levison would be technically unable to to hand over user data if required by a court.
