REVOLVING DOOR: Mother Makes Hires In New York, Los Angeles

Mother has made hired in its New York and Los Angeles offices.

In New York, Michael Jacovides joins as creative director. He started his career in editorial, as a writer for The Face, Arena, Vogue and GQ. He joined BBH London in 2007 as a creative director on Burberry, Levis, Wolsey, Johnnie Walker and Audi. After 4 years, he joined Grey as creative director on Hugo Boss fragrances (Lacoste, Stella McCartney, Hugo Boss and Gucci). Most recently, worked as creative consultant for VCCP, Iris, Gucci and Peter Saville Studio.

In Los Angeles, Romain Naegelen was named managing director.

Maite Albuquerque was added as creative director. She began her career in her native Brazil as a designer before moving on to Pony Tale in Lisbon, Sponge in Chicago, Strawberry Frog in NY and 72andsunny in LA. Albuquerque has worked on brands including Google, Target, Coca-Cola, Ikea and Verizon.

Will Tran joins as creative director. He began as a video artist before joining Draft FCB as a writer and eventually working for Strawberry Frog, B-Reel and 72andSunny, on brands like Google, Nike, Starbucks and Jim Beam.

Clare Jensen was named art director. She previously worked at 72andSunny on Instagram, Adidas, Google and Starbucks.

Taylor Black was tapped as copywriter. She joins the agency from 72andSunny where she worked on Instagram, Adidas and Sonos.

Lastly, Eric Reilly joins as Mother. He has four years of experience working for CP+B and 180LA on brands including Boost Mobile, Asics, HP and Virgin.
