Hill Holliday Bolsters C-Suite With New President, COO

Hill Holliday has bulked up its C-Suite with the addition of a new president, Chris Wallrapp, and a new Chief Operating Officer, Leslee Kiley. Both executives are veterans of the Boston-based Interpublic agency.

The agency has not had a president since Karen Kaplan was elevated to Chairman and CEO in 2013. The COO position is new.

Wallrapp was previously Chief Growth Officer and joined the agency in 2010. He’s credited with leading the shop’s seven new business pitches last year, all which were successful. The new accounts include Planet Fitness and Tempur Sealy. He also helped drive organic growth from a number of existing clients at the shop last year. Before joining HH, Wallrap held management posts at GSD&M, Fallon, Carmichael Lynch and Modernista!

Kiley, a 20-plus year veteran of Hill Holliday, was most recently head of Account Management. She personally led the Bank of America account, which grew substantially last year when the client moved its consumer banking business to the agency from WPP. Kiley is succeeded in the account management role by Kerry Benson, a 10-year HH veteran.

“In the last 18 months, we’ve developed some remarkable momentum,” stated Kaplan. “But we’re not about to take our foot off the gas. Which is why it’s the perfect time to double down on our leadership strength, so I can focus on critical industry issues and where marketing’s headed 10 years from now.”

Additional Clients at the 800-person strong agency include Dunkin' Donuts, John Hancock, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson.
