Blendle -- which some people apparently refer to as “iTunes for news” -- is reportedly receiving investment funds from
Financial Times owner Nikkei and investment fund INKEF
Capital. As Poynter points out, the investment comes about a year after the Dutch company made its U.S. debut. “Blendle launched with much fanfare in the United States last March with partners
including
The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and
The Washington Post,” Poynter notes.
