Yahoo! says its video search service is now open for business. The service, which launched as a test in December, allows users to search for video clips of all kinds - news, music, and movie trailers.
The release of Yahoo!'s video search service didn't happen in a vacuum; news of the release comes a short time after Google said it would test a new video search product that enables users to
search closed captioning content to find still shots of video clips. Google's service will also enable users to submit their own video clips.
Yahoo!'s Video Search offers video clips from CBS
News, Reuters, MTV.com, iFilm.com, and other content providers.
