The victims in a $100 million email scam have been revealed, and they’re two big players: Google and Facebook. Fortune broke the scoop. Facebook approached the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan to ask for help in recovering the lost funds. Both companies reportedly got their money back. Last month, the Justice Department announced the arrest of Evaldas Rimasauskas, charging that he perpetrated the scheme.
