TAG, which said it’s the first ISAO in the digital ad industry to register with the Standards Organization, will share information with industry stakeholders about new and emerging cyber-threats, incidents, and best practices, particularly those related to ad-related malware, ad-supported piracy, and ad fraud on behalf of the industry.
“Information-sharing is the mortar that bonds the individual efforts of hundreds of companies into a common barrier against the distribution of malware, viruses, and threats,” stated Mike Zaneis, CEO of TAG.
To date, TAG has worked closely with digital ad companies to create a Malware Threat Sharing Hub, a Data Center IP List of fraud threats, and a compliance officer network to enable the sharing of near-real time intelligence on new and emerging threats with other companies and law enforcement agencies.
