Senate Holds Hearings On Digital Privacy

Microsoft won a battle when a court ruled that the firm does not have to reveal customer information stored outside the U.S. But it could yet lose the war. That decision “hasn’t been well received by those charged with law enforcement,” and the Senate is holding hearings on the issue, The Register reports.
