Kmart Suffers Credit Card Processing Security Breach

Kmart has been hit by a malware-based security breach of its credit card processing systems, the second time it has been attacked by hackers in two years. The perpetrators are believed to have used the stolen data to create counterfeit credit cards and make purchases on them. Parent Sears Holding Corp. said the theft did not include identifying information such as customer names or social security numbers.
