Eric Donys Simeu, a Cameroonian citizen, has been sentenced to four years and 10 months in prison for phishing campaigns that targeted clients of two travel-booking services: Travelport and Sabre.
The scam led to the fraudulent issuing of over $2 million worth of airline tickets, prosecutors said.
