The battle between the Trump administration and Microsoft over email privacy is now before the Supreme Court. In June, POTUS asked SCOTUS to intervene. Microsoft had resisted a warrant for an email
account held on a server in Ireland, but a federal appeals court agreed that the emails were beyond the warrant’s reach, ABC News reports. The account holder had been suspected of drug
trafficking.
