SIFTLY Expands, Adds Media Services Practice

Andy Von Kennel has joined 2-year-old job matching site SIFTLY to oversee the platform's new media division. He’s been designated a cofounder and advisor.

SIFTLY works with holding companies and independent agencies in search of traditional advertising, digital, PR, innovation and marketing service specialists.

Now, the platform is expanding to media agencies matching talent in planning, buying, analytics, search, programmatic, social, ad operations and technology.

“SIFTLY is Tinder meets LinkedIn," says founder Frank Striefler. “SIFTLY gets you interested and qualified people in as little as three days. We are excited to continue to expand into ‘underserved’ departments, while staying focused on agency gigs."

Von Kennel brings a combination of job-matching, start-up experience alongside media experience with Omnicom Group and Interpublic Group, as well as his service on the Media Leadership Council for the 4As.

According to SIFTLY, 300 agencies use the platform for at least some of their hiring needs.
