Gig Economy Worker Rights Proposals Not Welcomed By Business Groups

It will come as little surprise that employer groups are warning that implementing proposals in the Taylor Report on the gig economy would cost jobs. The CBI is a prime example, warning readers of The Times the suggestions would decrease the flexibility of the UK work force. The business body is instead suggesting the minimum wage is increased for people on zero hour contracts.
