Senator Demands Use Of Tool To Thwart Impersonating Emails

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) has asked the Department of Homeland Security to require government-wide use of an email authentication tool to fight hackers that impersonate federal agencies. Wyden seeks use of the Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance an industry standard that allows organizations to send impersonating emails into spam folders or have them rejected by email providers.
