IAB Bows Series Of Industry Leader Talks

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) announced it’s launching a series of limited-attendance events featuring industry leaders that aim to move away from a stale conference panel model.

The first dozen invitation-only events, dubbed “IAB Leadership Dialogues” will take place during Advertising Week in New York, Sept. 25-28 at the IAB Ad Lab and other venues throughout the city. They’ll include a live Slate podcast and a live streaming Cheddar videocast.

Participants for the first set of events include: Tim Armstrong, CEO, Oath; Marie Gulin-Merle, CMO, L'Oréal; Kristin Lemkau, CMO, JPMorgan Chase; Marne Levine, COO, Instagram; Bob Lord, chief digital officer, IBM, and John Martin, chairman and CEO, Turner.

The IAB said the audience for the dialogues will be limited to 50 to 75 people, and curated from the C Suite of IAB member and partner companies, including publishers, brands and retailers, advertising agencies, and technology providers.
