Click-Fraud Trial Results in Both Conviction and Acquittal

Fabio Gasperini, an Italian national, was convicted by a federal jury on Friday of creating a global networks of hijacked computers. However, he was acquitted of more serious charges of cyber intrusion, wire fraud and conspiracy. The “click-fraud” trial took place at U.S. District Court in Brooklyn, NY.
