Time Is Running Out On California Privacy Bill: Lazarus

Consumer writer David Lazarus reports that the California internet privacy bill (AB 375) may be dead. The bill would require that telecom companies obtain consumers’ approval in advance before sharing their data with marketers. Lazarus charges that phone and cable companies have succeeded in killing it.
