Dana Walden, the co-chairman and CEO of the Fox Television Group, is joining the board of directors of Hulu, the over-the-toip streaming video service co-owned by 21st Century Fox, NBCUniversal, The
Walt Disney Company and Time Warner.
Walden will join two other Fox executives on the streamer's board: Fox digital president Brian Sullivan and 21st Century Fox president Peter Rice. Fox has long
had an active role in managing Hulu. Its current CEO Randy Freer had been a Fox executive before assuming the role last month, while the company's previous CEO Mike Hopkins was also a Fox executive
before joining Hulu. Walden is succeeding Freer on the company's board.
Walden was appointed to her current role nat Fox in 2014, after co-leading Fox's TV studio for 15 years with her
colleague Gary Newman.
