Canada's Anti-Spam Law Used Against Legit Companies

Canadian regulators are using the country’s anti-spam laws as a “blunt instrument” against legitimate firms. Three years after enactment, the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) has been applied in actions only against Canadian firms, including such legitimate brands as Rogers Media Inc., Porter Airlines and Kellogg Canada Inc.
