'Southern Living' Partners With 1-800-Flowers.com, Harry & David

Time Inc.’s Southern Living brand is partnering with 1-800-Flowers.com and Harry & David to create a collection of floral and food gifts.

The collection, which is available now, includes floral arrangements, a Happy Holiday Bouquet with white roses and red berries, indoor plants, wreaths, home décor and specialty food gift sets like a Soup, Cornbread and Biscuits gift set and a brunch gift set to “celebrate the warmth of the Southern lifestyle.”

The Southern Living collection features 14 offerings at 1-800-Flowers.com and five products from Harry & David, an Oregon-based food gifting company owned by 1-800-Flowers.com. The collection will roll out assortments for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and other seasonal occasions over time.

Kristen Payne, vice president of licensing at Time Inc., stated: “Elegant floral arrangements and the art of saying ‘thank you,’ ‘I love you’ or ‘happy holidays’ are at the very heart of our brand. We always look for ways to bring the pages of the magazine to life through our products.”

Real Simple, another Time Inc. brand, has collaborated with 1-800-Flowers.com on floral arrangements and seasonal gifts since 2014.

Southern Living is expanding its licensing efforts to coincide with the holidays this year.

In December, the lifestyle brand collaborated with department store Dillard's to host a day of Christmas events in 263 stores. Southern Living also has a branded collection of bedding, bakeware, home décor and tabletop products at Dillard’s, which it has had a partnership with since 2014.

tFor the 10th time, he two companies are also selling a custom edition of “Southern Living Christmas Cookbook” to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. The cookbook features 175 recipes and holiday decoration ideas on sale for $10.
