USIM, the independent media services agency founded by Dennis Holt, has been named print and broadcast media agency of record for sporting goods and apparel retailer Modell’s Sporting Goods.

Billings were not disclosed, but USIM was selected following a formal review.

The incumbent was Omnicom's Zimmerman Advertising unit in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

USIM will provide integrated media services, including all insights, strategy, planning and execution, and the business will be managed out of USIM’s New York City office.

“Our team will devise smart, effective media to target key local markets for Modell’s from New York to Washington, D.C.,” USIM Eastern Region President Russell Zingale stated.
