Meredith Unit MXM Appoints DiGuido To Email Post

Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM), a digital content agency, has named George DiGuido as executive director of email.

DiGuido will be responsible for MXM’s email operation, a service arm that sends 1.8 billion emails per year for clients. He will report to Georgine Anton, president of MXM, and will be based in the firm’s New York headquarters. 

Prior to this, DiGuido served as VP growth and email marketing for Dotdash (formerly About.com), and as head of email marketing at Airbnb, where he headed email retention and growth across 12 international offices. He has also held the title of VP, CRM and email for Zeta Interactive Corp.

He has spoken at such events as the Email Innovations Summit, MediaPost’s Email Insider Summit and the DMA &THEN Conference.

DiGuido brings to MXM “a unique depth and breadth of email marketing expertise,” Anton states.

She adds that email “is by far the most effective platform for brands to connect directly with consumers.”

MXM is part of Meredith Corp., the publicly owned media and marketing company, and specializes in custom content and customer relationship marketing platforms. Serving such clients as Benjamin Moore, Kraft Heinz, Allergan, and TGI Fridays, MXM employs over 500 people across the globe.
