
VML has appointed Jason Xenopoulos to the new position of
Global Chief Vision Officer and Chief Creative Officer of VML’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Xenopoulos is tasked with steering the WPP agency’s long-term vision
and global positioning across its global network, which spans 33 offices across six continents.
As to this second role, Chief Creative Officer, EMEA, Xenopoulos will work with Global
Chief Creative Officer Debbi Vandeven as the shop’s creative product evolves.
Also, working with Jon Sharpe, CEO of VML Europe, Xenopoulos will foster relationships with the
region’s key clients, manage and develop creative leadership across EMEA and help drive growth at the agency. He will sit on VML’s global creative council, which helps guide creative
teams.

Xenopoulos will remain based out of VML South
Africa’s office in Cape Town, reporting to Cook and Vandeven.
In 2010, Xenopoulos co-founded Native, which was acquired by VML in 2013. He has served as CEO and Chief Creative
Officer of VML South Africa since then.
Jarred Cinman has been promoted to succeed Xenopoulos as CEO VML South Africa, while Diane Wilson has been elevated to the office’s deputy
CEO post and Ryan McManus has been upped to Chief Creative Officer.
