The Guardian is reporting today that its parent company -- Guardian News & Media (GNM), which also publishes
The Observer -- has halved its losses and is on course to break
even this year. The report indicates revenue has grown faster than expected but also the paper has managed to save GBP20m from its cost base, which is greater than was expected.
