Shakeup At Arnold Worldwide As CEO Hamlin Prepares To Depart

Global CEO Pam Hamlin will be leaving the agency after 20 years to pursue other opportunities. She first joined the Havas-owned network as managing partner and director of account management in 1998, responsible for the Fidelity, Gillette, Ocean Spray and Royal Caribbean accounts.

She was promoted to president of Arnold’s Boston headquarters in March 2006 and to global president in December 2013.

This is as loving a transition as possible, says an agency spokesperson.

"We want to thank Pam for her decades of service not only to Arnold but also Havas. We are grateful for her dedication and passion for the business, her people and Arnold's clients. We wish her incredible success and satisfaction in her next adventures," stated Paul Marobella, CEO and Chairman of Havas NA.

Hamlin will remain at Arnold “into later this year” while working with CCO Icaro Doria and other leaders to ensure “a very thoughtful succession and transition process," said an agency spokesperson, adding that Arnold is now "actively seeking" a replacement.

Adds Hamlin in a separate statement: “Arnold is beginning an exciting chapter under Icaro, who has been a tremendous addition to the agency, helping to shape the vision for modern creativity in a changing environment where meaningful ideas have never been more valuable.”

Concurrently, managing partner, chief financial officer, and global director of operations Scott Feyler is also departing the Boston-based agency after more than two decades.

Feyler will leave in mid-May to begin an unspecified new job. “We have immense gratitude for Scott’s 25 years of service to Arnold and wish only good things for him in his future endeavors,” says the spokesperson.
