Energy BBDO has been awarded the Avocados from Mexico business. The Chicago-based agency will be responsible for developing an overarching brand platform, as well as high-impact tentpole
events, like the client’s Super Bowl presence. It’s had an ad in the game for the past four years.
The decision was made following a competitive review involving 72 and
Sunny, Doner, and Merkley and Partners.
Incumbents were GSD&M and Arnold.
AFM is a nonprofit trade group representing the Mexican Hass Avocados Importers
Association and the Association of Growers and Packers of Avocados From Mexico. They issued an RFP earlier this year aiming to consolidate marketing efforts with a single agency.
