Fast Company is introducing two podcast series and a YouTube video series a month after premiering three new YouTube weekly series: "You Have To See This," "Fast Comedy" and "Changing The Game."
The two podcast series will be called "Secrets of the Most Productive People" and "Creative Conversation.” They will alternate with new episodes every Wednesday.
“Secrets of the Most Productive People" will look at how “ultra-productive people get it all done,” according to a statement. It will focus on the practices, tools and traits behind successful businesses and people and how they are utilized to increase productivity and profitability.
Fast Company's Kate Davis and Anisa Purbasari will host the series, which will launch June 6. The first guest will be Dr. Gary Zammit, from the Sleep Disorder Institute of NY.
Each episode will range from 15 to 20 minutes.
"Creative Conversation" will be hosted by Fast Company’s entertainment and pop culture reporter KC Ifeayani. Ifeayani will interview art and business icons to highlight the secrets of their success and creativity.
The first guest for the debut episode, which will air June 13, is author and NPR contributor David Sedaris.
Future guests include executive producers of Netflix series “Glow,” Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, as well as TV and film composer Max Richter and actress and comedian Franchesca Ramsey.
Each "Creative Conversation" episode will be 30 minutes.
Fast Company’s new YouTube series is called "Passion Project" and will give a behind-the-scenes look at celebrities' side projects and businesses. The magazine's YouTube channel has 44,000 subscribers.
The first episode will feature Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper and their traveling road show. Other celebrities will include John Legend, Nicole Richie, La La Anthony, Shay Mitchell and Lauren Conrad.
Each of the six episodes of the "Passion Project" series will air every Tuesday.
In March, Vanity Fair deputy editor Stephanie Mehta became editor-in-chief of Fast Company, succeeding Bob Safian, who stepped down at the end of January after a 12-year run at the Joe Mansueto-owned company. Fast Company covers business, tech and design. Manuseto Ventures also owns Inc. magazine.
