Omnicom's Merkley+Partners (M+P) is promoting 16-year veteran Scott Gelber from Chief Digital Officer to the newly created role of president to focus on advancing integration of the agency’s strategy, creative, digital and media offerings.
In addition to integration efforts, Gelber is tasked with helping to develop new capabilities at the agency.
M+P is retiring the Chief Digital Officer position and shifting Gelber’s digital responsibilities to other senior members of the team.
Separately Omnicom's Minneapolis-based agency Martin Williams is naming Brock Davis, formerly with space150, as Chief Creative Officer, filling the open position since longtime creative head and CEO Tom Moudry left the agency.
Davis will be responsible for the 35-person creative department will also be active in agency new business activities. His remit also includes oversight for the agency's production operation.
