After last year's Cheetos-themed pop-up restaurant in New York City, the concept is heading west with the opening of “The Flamin' Hot Spot” with Los Angeles chef Roy Choi.
The LA-based spot will be open to the public for only three nights, with limited reservations available on CheetosFlaminHotSpot.com via the OpenTable app. Last year's NYC's The Spotted Cheetah's wait list had more than 1,000 people.
Priced between $11-$32, the three-course menu includes Cheetos Sweet n’ Spicy Chili Meatballs, Five-Alarm Cheetos Steak and Chester’s Cheetos Churros (which is vegetarian).
Cheetos is working with The Marketing Arm (TMA) on creative, OMD for paid media, and Ketchum for PR to help execute this project.
Cheetos is expanding the concept to enable fans to enjoy select Flamin’ Hot dishes at home by ordering the recipes and fresh ingredients through AmazonFresh. Fans first download all of the recipes on CheetosFlaminHotSpot.com.
The Flamin’ Hot Spot will be located at 1835 North Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles from Sept. 18 through Sept. 20.
