Afternoon Activities Are Being Reconsidered. Because Rain.

As MediaPost Editorial Director of Events Steve Smith opens this morning’s session of the Publishing Insider Summit here in “sunny” Austin, he is telling the scores of attendees that the afternoon‘s activities, which were to include a lake cruise and an electrics bike tour of the city, are being changed to tours of the Texas State Capitol Building (just slightly larger than the nation’s capitol) and the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library.

The temperature in the city was 89 degrees yesterday. Thunderstorms overnight have left the high temps in the 50s!
