Fandor Taps Chris Kelly As CEO

The streaming video service Fandor has named Chris Kelly CEO and tapped John Zamoiski to be its first CMO.

Kelly, a former executive at Facebook, had been the chairman of Fandor and its largest individual investor. He succeeds Larry Aidem, who left the streaming company in September.

Zamoiski joins Fandor from the ad agency Doner.

In a statement, the executives suggest the company will step up its marketing in the coming months. Zamoiski also suggested new advertising opportunities would be coming, saying he was looking at “innovative opportunities for brand partners.”

Fandor offers a library of thousands of movies and documentaries for $5.99 per month. There is a discount for a yearly subscription.
