The Community is opening a new office in San Francisco to better handle Bay Area clients, as well as to open up new opportunities on the West Coast.
The agency’s roster of clients includes Verizon, BMW, VW, Google, Sauza and Hornitos Tequilas, Apple, Converse, Corona Extra, Modelo Especial and ESPN, among others.
The Community San Francisco office will be led by Julie Liss as managing director and Mark Sweeney as Chief Creative Officer.
The agency specifically focused on the Bay City, due to client demand, along with opening the door for future opportunities, particularly in the tech space.
“A West Coast operation has always been part of our vision. It’s such a great market, and I’m excited about all the great work we’ll be able to do from there,” stated José Mollá, cofounder-Chief Creative Officer, the community.
In the past year, the Publicis-owned agency has expanded to London and New York, joining its two other offices in Buenos Aires and Miami.
