Carnival Appoints Wunderman As Lead CRM Shop

Carnival Cruise Line is appointing Wunderman as the brand's customer relationship management (CRM) agency of record following a competitive review. Although this is a Wunderman win, it will be run under Wunderman Thompson following the WPP's shop recent merger with sister shop J. Walter Thompson. Lasik served as the incumbent agency. 

In addition to day-to-day CRM activities Wunderman Thompson is tasked with broader initiatives like researching and analyzing Carnival consumers' preferences, attitudes and behaviors to understand their effect on a variety of campaigns. Cruise ships, notably, receive a lot of data and information from its passengers ranging from their eating and buying habits to prescription drug needs.
