
In ramping up for
a presidential speech on Tuesday night, a TV spot touting the need for border security -- including visuals of a “wall” -- has spent some $220,654 in national TV advertising since January
5, according to iSpot.tv.
Through January 7, the presidential TV spot has run 12 times on CNN -- with an estimated cost of $27,001; nine times on Fox News Channel ($34,262); and twice on CBS
($159,391).
The ad was paid for by Donald J. Trump for President.
Since January 5, the spot has generated 14.2 million impressions -- with 12 million of those impressions coming on
Sunday TV programming.
Two of the biggest programs where the spot has run in terms of impressions are “60 Minutes” on CBS on Sunday; and a college basketball game -- Indiana v.
Michigan also on CBS on Sunday.
Other major shows airing the spot include Fox cable network shows “Fox and Friends Weekend,” “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria
Bartiromo,” “America’s News Headquarters” and “MediaBuzz.”
CNN shows include “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown,” “New Day with Alisyn
Camerota and John Berman,” “Fareed Zakaria GPS” and “Inside Politics.”
